OCT 06 2006 - UPDATES!!!
ok yeah Ive really slacked, sorry, so many things to do... well its been over a year and you all should know what the guys have been upto:
BLUNT - Blunt AKA Mark AKA Alkazar XXX has been very busy making music. He played for a while with his NY based band Idol-X, that has since fallen through but he is still busy working away. Hes done some production from what I understand and is currently writting music for soundtracks. He is a big user of myspace and you can get the latest on all his projects there plus there is Medication myspace page run by him aswell. Please drop him a line, go see his latest project here : empty friend myspace page
WHIT - Good news! yes Whit is FINALLY in another band (thanks the lord!) The band is Another Animal featuring Shannon Larkin from Ugly Kid Joe, and a few Medication shows on drums, a sneaky peeky of the album is available on their myspace page another animal album due out next year
KYLE - Im sure you all know Kyle is in the rather massive band bloodsimple, well atleast you should know! Anyway, the first album came out yonks ago and the second one is on its way... They parted ways with Chris Hammilton ex Medication but they are still a very very great band... Kyle also has a personal myspace page up here
Sorry but Im really not sure what Logan is doing right now, I think hes still very active as a producer but as for his band I think they are on a hiatus? maybe someone will know...
Ill try and update this site with news more often, sorry for the lapse, and also I have to fix the gallery something went wrong along time ago with a server move.
One last note, sadly the old address redefiningsin.com is no longer active, so now you must goto broken-television.co.uk/redefiningsin!

JAN 12 2005 - phone call with whit! | discuss
This appeared on www.whitfieldcrane.com, Its a breif excerp of a conversation between Paul Browne and Whit:
Hey. I spoke with the man - Whit. Firstly I couldn't transcribe the shit he said, cos we were on mobile phones [cell] so I jotted down some of the chat he said would be cool to tell you guys:
On Medication: "Things start out beautifully, like you're 20 years old again and then they're going good, but it ends horribly.."
On Why he didn't speak with Q magazine: "Because I didn't see the point, if there is nothing new, no new music to speak to a publication about..then what is the point...when I have something new to talk about, then that is the time to talk about it".
On a possible Ugly Kid Joe DVD release:
"It'd be great..go do it - cool, but I have no footage"..
On his next move in the music scene / band: "You know there's nothing going on really, yeh I'm ready at anytime to go on and do something but I don't have a band...you find me the greatest rock n roll band an I'll sing with them.."
He also mentioned he's been living away so long, it's great just to get to know his family again and he's really enjoying that. You gotta remember I wrote this down so if there's a word or two I got wrong then bite me, the main gist of it is there..
Paul later posted on the net that:
Well there was a lot of shit we spoke about, when I mentioned the name Jon Hudson and what happened, he went quiet and changed the subject.
Whit's projectless.
I asked him about how he gets on these tribute albums and he said, he never knows, he just gets a phone call...
He does get offered a lot of shit a lot of the time but I suspect, if it's not something that isn't brand fire new, with a band who want to establish themselves from ground zero and up, Whit isn't interested.
JAN 12 2005 - bloodsimple video shoot | discuss
all the latest on the video etc from bloodsimpleband.com, bloodsimples official website!
bloodsimple. would like to thank all you maniacs who made the video shoot a total success. We would also like to thank Joe and Handsome Dick Manitoba for letting us come damn near to destroying the place. I don't think we could have fit anymore people into that bar. Video footage is on it's way to being edited and should be ready come first of the new year. Bottom line = Record...done , video...done , tour dates are in the works and release date is targeted for March 2005. So eat , drink , crank metal , and have a good holiday!!!

SEP 20 2004 - idol x news! | discuss

idol x is blunts latest band. blunt is now going by his real name or mark hunt. The band are eager for feedback so you can leave comments either in the forum or at the link posted above.
idol x are still in search of a singer, and at current are prepared to widen they're search over seas. if you think you may be the right person please get in contact with me either through the forum or email me. It would be great if you had a demo of your vocals, perhaps a recording from your last band? I can host the mp3's and forward them to the band.
some news on the official site should arrive soon.

SEP 07 2004 - download problems | discuss
as you all know there have been some major problems with the downloads from the media section... my appologies go out to all those of you who emailed me as you were unable to get downloads
The truth is that after getting permission for the downloads i actually went to the stage of paying for hosting, not a crappy package either (50GB bandwidth!) but since geocities decided to give their server attentions to other projects i've been getting the same piss poor service usually reserved for free accounts (bastards!)
sooo, i think i have come to an alternative hosting solution where i should be able to offer a much more reliable and faster downloading system for the media section, as a thank you i am trying to secure permission for some nice extras aswel. also the final track of the medication ep should be available shortly!
i expect all problems to be resolved by atleast the end of october, but hopefully much earlier!
thank you for your patience.

JUNE 28 2004 - download problems... | discuss
appologies for those of you who have had a problem downloading the audio files from the media section. This isn't a bandwidth problem (I'm always far from exceeding my 5GB) but more so a problem with audio files on the geocities servers. I've emailed geocities to inform them of the problem and I'm hoping it will be sorted soon. If you are lucky the downloads may work for you but the service as it stands at the moment is sparodic to say the least! if there is a download you are eager to hear and can't wait for the service to resume I am prepared to email the files. my appologies.
